MY VERY FIRST TIME

my first real introduction to the magical world of sneakers probably began at about the same time as my introduction to bboying, also known as breakdancing, and to the really cool people, rapdancing. the first pair of shoes that i really wanted to buy were these blue prestos from the nike factory outlet. they were $120 and my parents were like 'what the fuck lets go to the adidas factory outlet' but they only had soccer boots there so i won. they are still probably the most comfy shoe i have ever worn.



they are now trashed from doing trashy stuff.

i then wanted cortezes and i did NOT know that george costanza wore them. if you asked me 3 years ago if i would wear cortezes because george costanza wore them i would be like who the fuck is george costanza. you dont get much seinfield overseas really. but now because i am cool and seeing as george costanza is cool to be cool i must like george costanza.



yep i like george costanza.

i danced in like whatever shoes i had really. and then a mate was wearing air max bursts one day and i was like 'holy crap what the hell are those?' and he was like 'air maxes son' and i was like 'word. copped.' (i didnt actually think i was chigga at this stage i probably said 'wah thats goot man' but thats another story).

another friend had air max 1 urawaras. they were red and had this little golden snake on the back of them and i was like 'what are those' and he was like 'air maxes' and i was like' how can there be more then one' and my head exploded at the concept.

he had actually gotten them from the factory outlet, and since now we are all more knowledgeable people he is sad he danced in them (i believe).

you end up dancing in all your shoes really so like its no big deal. the first time you dance in them its extra painful though.

so i went on a quest to get air maxes and i went to soleprovider and i was looking at numerous air maxes and i decided to get these all white ones because in my mind i was like 'mmhh white is versatile i can wear them wherever i go and dance wherever i want.'

how wrong i was.



i kinda shoegooed them because i thought if i shoegooed them i could protect the leather. however i shoegooed them all shitty so i ripped the goo off and bang all the paint from the leather came off. i tried to get soleprovider to send me another pair (werd2 would be proud, not really) but thestaff werent so stupid to believe my pair exploded.. rats.



nowadays i am still poor but i buy all. this means i am freshin everybody.
