LRG How we roll review

blog by Frederik 8th Sep 2007

Sup? I promised to post the review this weekend, but my new iMac is still somewhere between the factory and the store and my old one is gone...
So I'll be copying from my cellphone like an ancient monk.

The dvd I have is just a shorter promo copy, so I have to be careful judging the footage because I haven't seen the whole movie.

ARTWORK
I don't know if you guys know Piet Parra, but those pictogram's on this dvd remind me of his work. It's a nice cover with the LRG brand colors, clean. But when the movie starts there is no more artwork, in the trailer their was a little, here nada.
I actually expected divided scenes for each rider with their own tricks and history and some dope interludes. But enough about the artwork.

FOOTAGE
I definitely wanna see the full length movie one time because (besides the 45% bails) there was some dope footage and nice spots.
We can see the riders traveling and joking around, that's always better than strictly skate shots. Jet some more skating and less bails are needed.
What I missed was some music, not banging background beats, but artist. Face it, LRG today is also a backpack artist brand.

So LRG, be quick releasing that dvd! And Freakers be quick copping it.
