My first encounter with Ms Hayley Mei was while dj’ng at one of the hottest nights in Melbourne where I was presented on stage by one of the freshest Nike Air Max chains I had ever seen. Actually, Id never seen a sneaker with so much detail on a chain before. Best described by the creator, Hayley Mei has this to say about how she started this booming label, recently seen on French Graff artist FAFI while taggin’ up Melbourne’s streets on her recent tour, “I was sick to death of seeing horses, unicorns, butterflies and swallows being offered as girls jewellery. Some of it is meant to be a little tongue in cheek (eg Bird of Paradise) and pokes fun at other jewellery (Wing of Fire) so I’m stoked if you have a laugh too.”
Who is Hayley Mei for? It’s for grown up girls. Girls that ooze confidence, have a bit of attitude and are a little sexy, a little cheeky.
Hayley’s aim is to provide girls with something cool, something that you can team up with some fresh out the box shoes and a favorite tee.
