In keeping with the Vexed minimalist aesthetic, the jacket’s technical elements that are integrated into the overall design creating a synergy between form and function.
To avoid the smog and exhaust of busy metropolitan streets, this garment features a built-in air filter pocket in the facemask which houses removable carbon air filters. When not in use, the convertible hood folds into a wind repellant high collar. When zipped, the split drop tail attaches to the front of the jacket and conforms to the body offering contoured splashguard protection.
Made for cool weather usage, this bonded 3-layer stretch polyester/lycra garment has an external waterproof laminate shell with a textured inner fleece for warmth. Articulated reflective piping along the raglan sleeve lends visibility when signaling for turns, while expansion pleats and mesh inserts allow for airflow and flexibility. In keeping with all PUMA/Vexed garments, the signature duo logo branding is featured on the left upper arm.
The Cycling Jacket retails for € 250 and was launched at select retailers globally in November 2005.
